Summary
Evan Buckley was presumed dead after a week thanks to Phillip and Margaret Buckley.
He had fallen into the ocean when his line broke during a rescue, but the 118 weren't ready to give up on him. When he's found alive after thirteen days, things are different. His parents had decided they were done with his reckless behavior, Bobby and Athena were more obviously affectionate, and Chimney was determined to play matchmaker. Not to mention, apparently, the courts can't overturn an adoption that never happened, leading to an investigation into Buck's past.

Summary
“Before you go, I’d like to offer you a job.”
Eddie grimaced. He was in no mood for this guy’s weird, cryptic nonsense. “Not interested, thanks.”
“You’re a natural born fighter, you know. It would be a shame to waste that on another profession—”
“Seriously, I’m not interested.”
“—especially firefighter.”
Eddie paused mid-motion to grab his car door, turning wide, surprised eyes up to the grinning guy in front of him. The unease in his stomach solidified into dread, his tired mind coming to life and starting to swirl with plans to get away from this creep. “Excuse me?”
“You're squandering your talent, Eddie. Can I call you Eddie?” Every overly casual word and light step towards him had Eddie freaking out a little more. The guy smirked, watching the firefighter step back as he tried to saunter closer. “You’re saving lives with hands meant to take it.”Welcome to LA!
Here you'll find a canon-divergent 9-1-1 AU where Buck and Eddie go missing and struggle with their situation (and their feelings), all while the rest of the 118 rushes to find them.

Summary
In the back of the ambulance, Eddie was in the middle of rechecking vitals for the injured patient when he suddenly heard the sirens stop wailing, immediately jolting up from what he was doing. “What the hell…?”
When Eddie looked up he saw the glint off the metal of the gun the guard with him was holding, gaze instantly locking onto the threat. His hands over the patient stilled, and his eyes narrowed into a glare. It was made worse when he recognized the eyes he was glaring into, his anger too strong for his rising panic to bother him at all.
“Hey there, Eddie.” The man grinned, taking his hat off as the disguise was no longer doing him any good. “Miss me?”
“...Axel.” Eddie greeted, teeth clenched so hard he could feel pain in his jaw.
Axel just continued to smile, the gesture menacing. “‘Cause I certainly missed you.”Welcome to LA!
Here you'll find a canon-divergent 9-1-1 AU where Buck and Eddie get abducted during the prison riot and have both their situation and their feelings to deal with.

Summary
He looked down, shocked to see Christopher’s number displayed across his screen. They had texted occasionally, but it had been over six years since they last saw each other, and since Christopher never called him, something was clearly wrong.
“Chris?”
“Hey Buck, I know it's been a while, and I’m sorry to be so blunt, but Dad was hurt in a fire six weeks ago and has been in a coma ever since.” The color drains from Buck’s face. “I begged them to let him fight, but they won’t listen. Grandma and Abuelo, they want to…”
He doesn’t let Christopher finish, “Christopher, is your dad dead?”
He braces himself for the answer. It may have been over six years, but deep down, Buck’s feelings for his former partner have never changed.
“No, because they aren’t in Dad’s power of attorney, you are.” Christopher tells him, “They tried to hide his will, but when they suggested pulling the plug, the hospital contacted the fire station that Dad works at, just to verify, and his captain turned it over. They couldn’t remove life support because they need you to sign off. I need you too…” Buck doesn’t even hear the last part as he’s sucked into his own thoughts.

Summary
“Most babies are born as accidents,” She says suddenly, like she’s decided that Buck has passed, that she can trust him with this.
Buck doesn’t really have an answer because that question hits way to fucking close to home. A year or so ago he would have said, yes, I was an accident, so I know how that goes, but Buck knows better now. Knows that he would almost give anything for that answer to still be yes. Evie’s finger works under the seal to rip it open, a stack of important looking papers dumping out onto the table in front of her.
“Not me,” she says without looking up as she organizes them into a neat stack, “I was engineered.”
And.
And Buck’s pretty fucking sure a giant, cataclysmic hole has ripped right open, dragging him down to the earth’s core where he vaporizes into dust.
{or Buck meets another savior baby and everything comes crashing down}
