Summary
At thirty-one, Katsuki was the number five hero. He'd already saved the world from All For One. Dynamight was a legend. But his mouth's explosive nature had become a barrier to reaching the top.
Seeing him plateau, Best Jeanist and Edgeshot come with an offer: work with the top rookie, Deku, to uncover a villain's fraud scheme. The problem? Katsuki doesn't work with rookies ten years younger than him. Especially one who already has an obvious hero crush on him.
When Deku proves he's more than All Might's protegee, Katsuki agrees to one mission with the young hero. He's sure once Deku learns who Katsuki is under the mask, he'll run for the hills.
But, as he gets to know the rookie, he wonders if he wants to scare him away... or something else.

Summary
Nausea threatens him, either caused by morning sickness or anxiety; it was hard to say, but nonetheless, Izuku makes a distressed chirp, hoping to summon his alpha if calling said alpha's name wasn't enough. After a few more attempts and still nothing, that's when the stinging begins to build up behind his eyes, with the tightening of his throat thwarting further successful chirps. With one more sad attempt, Izuku starts the arduous task of getting to his feet, where he, once again, normally has Katsuki here to assist. The thought of that sees the first tear rolling down Izuku's cheek, and he twists and grunts until he's vertical.
If his alpha isn't going to come to him, then Izuku's going to have to find Katsuki himself.

“I can’t believe this aired on TV,” Izuku mumbles into his hands, cheeks still bright red as he peers over his fingers. “Kacchan, this is – oh my god – Kacchan. They’re going to be pulling clips from this for the rest of our lives.”
“Noooo.” Mina tips forward to ruffle her manicured hands through both Katsuki’s and Izuku’s hair. “It’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! The most innocent dirt they could ever dig up. Look at those tiny babies!”
Katsuki bats her away. “We’re not tiny, fuck off.”
“Ah! They’ve spotted a frog!” the narrator’s voice chimes from the TV. “The yakitori they were supposed to pick up for dinner has completely left their heads.”
Izuku snorts at that, hands lowering slightly. A reluctant sort of grin threatens at Katsuki’s mouth.
In which Class 3-A discovers two of their own were once featured on an episode of Old Enough! and Katsuki realizes he can't remember the last time he saw his mom look so carefree.
