Summary
In which I attempt to answer the question: what if Thorin and Bilbo met before the formation of the Company? How does their first meeting change when there is no dangerous quest looming over them? (A partial AU where most of the canon events happen the same way except they are married the entire time).
I have all ten chapters outlined and most of them will include prompts from a Year of Bagginshield. Expect updates about once a month (I hope!).

Summary
Bilbo quickly makes his home in Erebor waiting for Thorin to wake. In doing so, he never knew he had set off a cataclysm of events that led him right into the throes of dwarven courting and becoming the Consort under the Mountain.
Or
Dwarven courting is much different than a hobbits. Bilbo soon finds that out.

Summary
Thorin took another step forward, and once again looked at Bilbo, who hadn't moved an inch, "So, this is our man. Tell me, Mr. Baggins, you done much fighting?"
"Excuse me?" Bilbo was thrown, both by being referred by this stranger as his man, and by the ridiculous question. Fighting? Why, he was a respectable gentleman! Not some ruffian who was prone to getting into scraps.
"Revolver? Rifle? What's your weapon of choice?" Thorin probed, his voice was rich and sonorous, but tinged with a bit of amusement that rankled at Bilbo's pride.
"Well, I'm a deft hand at whist, if you must know, but I fail to see why that's relevant." Bilbo replied, with a snippy tone and a mite more confidence than he felt at the moment.

Summary
A fix-it fic where Bilbo must navigate through a world of dwarves with completely different customs, rules and a new King fevered by gold-sickness. Will he be able to save this king from the sickness that plagues his mind? Or will he find solace in the arms of a different dwarf?
“Tea is at four. There’s plenty of it. You are welcome anytime. Uh… Don’t bother knocking.”
And so, the hobbit left for the Shire, Gandalf and a horse in tow. This is where his story ends.
But–wait. I’m terribly sorry. That cannot be it, can it? The Lonely Mountain reclaimed after one hundred and seventy years of capture, everybody dead, and our hobbit–our master burglar, who had found family among the company–returns home to live out his days in quiet isolation?
No. No, no.
The journey, though an unexpected one, does not end here. Let us go back in time a moment, shall we?
“Tea is at four. There’s plenty of it. You are welcome anytime. Don’t bother knocking.”
Making his way to Gandalf, the hobbit turned back one last time and waved. He climbed onto the horse, settling himself–then paused.
