The bracer on his forearm burns as he goes through an intense grief, his fingers digging into his ribs at how anguished his chest is. He approaches the blade of Cloud-Piercer, his hands violently shaking as he drops to his knees with a loud thud. He pries it out of the ground, the glow of ‘Dan’ still shining brilliantly in the dark.
