Mike smoothed his palm across his eye.

Mike flopped down, exhausted from holding the only attachment to logic in this conversation.
"And naturally, they agreed that you should come wake me at 5 in the goddamn morning." He held up a hand at Micky's intake of breath. "5:15, I know."

Mike dipped his head back down, not quick enough to hide the blush on his face. "Well that's not-" he paused long enough to coach the panic out of his voice. "That's not exactly what I meant. Asshole."
