Mylo and Claggor would say there’s nothing that scares Vi. She can dish out punches and evade danger better than anyone. She’s their fearless leader, always ready to take them on a job and back without losing anyone. It’s that level of assurance that they have in her, that confidence she exudes, that makes them trust and believe in her.

"I’m a doctor.” Viktor says, frowning as one of the latches on Jayce's brace doesn’t close. “I help people with their backs.”
“Doctor…?”
“Dr. Talis.” Viktor says softly. The answer is like a punch to the gut. Jayce has forgotten who he’s talking to. A spouse, in a different life. The notion alone is enough to almost bring those pesky tears back. That insane vulnerability in his brain, the tender and abused place of him that doesn’t know how to quantify such an idea.
Jayce would give anything to Viktor, be anything for Viktor. And in this universe, he’d been his husband. Had given him his name. A gift that has lasted beyond even death.

Summary
Viktor says, “Did you ever have respect for my wishes? Or was I always just… some thing to you? A person when it pleased you, and a pet when my will contradicted your own.”
“That was never the case.” A shuddering inhale. Nerves prickling under his skin. It horrifies him that Viktor would think him so ignoble. “It isn’t true, Viktor. You know that. You’re my best friend. I still— I still think of you as my partner.”
“I’m not your partner.” Never was the word spat out, the way Viktor spits it. “I’m your prisoner.”
Jayce returns from a blighted Piltover. Before he can enter Viktor’s commune, he is swept up by a Noxian patrol. From there, he is thrown in with a dubious Doctor, and forced to confront his failings: whether that means by acceptance, or atonement.

Summary
It shouldn’t affect him so much. It doesn't always. If he were to turn his head now, they’d bump right into each other. And most of the time, that would be fine. Jayce fits himself into Viktor’s space far too often. It should be a predictable feeling by now. Usually, he feels nothing more than a moment of surprise at how comfortable- or potentially, unknowing- Jayce is with crowding around him. He’s too tired- too irritated- to narrow down the reason why this particular occasion- or any of the others in the past- has him struggling. It just does sometimes. When he has the spare time and energy for contemplation, he can start paying attention. Surely there’s a common factor among all the times these familiar behaviors elicit such unwarranted reactions in himself.
