Summary
It's not exactly Shinsou's fault for not knowing, considering he'd only been part of class 2A for a week and a half and was so exhausted from the change in curriculum that most days he face planted the bed as soon as he got back to the dorm.
And it's not exactly Shinsou's fault for not guessing, either, because in the 3 years since he'd presented as an Alpha, he'd helped out the majority of the omegas in his class at one time or another, and it'd always been treated the way it should be: normal and natural. Sometimes Omegas just needed some help, and he happened to have a very calming scent and tight control over his instincts. It was his job as a hero to help people, and his job as an Alpha to take care of Omegas.
So it's not exactly a shock that Shinsou's first instinct after watching Bakugou squirming around in pain was to pull him onto his dick.
(Public sex is normal because it has to be, because Omegas need knots and Alphas have them. Bakugou, stubborn and headstrong and terrible at being an Omega, thinks he's finally found relief. Shinsou, docile and calm and terrible at being an Alpha, has no idea what he's gotten himself into.)

They’d come a very long way just for Grace to give up and die at the last hurdle, both physically and emotionally. The Tau Ceti system was a long, long way away now, and Grace had faced not one but two highly emotional suicide missions. Three, if you counted the time before he was given a military grade roofie and hucked into space without his memories.

Rocky squeaks, a rush of air from his vents in a short burst. Scandalized.
“Put inside!? No no no. Disgust! Grace think like pervert! No no no.”
“It was an innocent question! Humans put their penises in any hole that can fit! Even stuff that isn’t alive, like, food or—”
Another squeal, this time Rocky stands on three legs. His two limbs used currently for his arms wave erratically.
“Perverted! Perverted! Perverted! Grace disgust! All human species disgust!”

Except, he doesn’t even make it to the threshold to cross the hallway of the ship. His feet stop. A complete, precise standstill.
Rocky had chittered at him, a short burst of notes, monosyllabic in Eridian despite the layers of chords. He registered it not as any word, yet the command still struck.
Stay.
Heeled. Like a dog.
And it wasn’t by any doing of Grace’s own decision making.

There is no way Rocky had actually said what Grace thought he heard, just now. “You…you want to what? For science?!”
Rocky tsks, like Grace has taken the implications way out of proportion. “Experiment,” he stresses. “Logical, methodical experiment. You make it sound… unreasonable.”
Grace explodes. “Unreasonable! Unreasonable! You want to stick your hand up my ass!”
