Summary
In 97 AC, Daemon Targaryen weds Alicent Hightower. How can that change the course of history?
What follows is an alternate Dance of Dragons, between Daemon Targaryen and Rhaenyra Targaryen. The factions have shifted, alliances have brought half of the realm together for the Reds and the Rogue Prince is known by the name of "King of the Hightower". Will the Blacks stand any chance?
When dragons dance, the realm bleeds.
All credit goes to George R.R. Martin. This story is different from the original, although most characters are the ones from canon.

Summary
This story began with two questions.
Why was Alicent Hightower never quite bold enough to refuse her marriage to Viserys and stand against her father?
And why was Daemon Targaryen never quite clever enough to expose Otto Hightower's schemes before it was too late?
But what if they had been?
What if Alicent chose differently?
What if Daemon acted sooner?
What if House Hightower and House Targaryen were bound together long before the Dance?
After all, when fire joins with the wind, it does not burn less fiercely.
It spreads.Bookmarked by book_ghost

All it took to Sansa’s life to turn upside down was a single night.
And now, there she was, alone in a far away land with a Targaryen bastard growing in her belly. And they said Arya was the one who resembled their aunt the most.Book Canon AU | A thousand lies may build their kingdom.

Summary
Its been a solid five months since the thorns last secured their place as champions and almost a month since the new season began.
The team is as strong as ever, with great moments in and outside the court. Jett works to earn her place as the role model and advisor of the team, Lenny continues to support and be supported by everyone, Olivia works hard to de-attach herself from social media's hardest critiques, Archie can now find some time for himself as there's new uncles and aunties willing to help him and his daughters out, Will's becoming the core of the team's spirit, and Modo...
...wait, has anyone seen Modo?
--------
Now that the team takes a moment to think back, Modo's been acting different for a hot minute. Its not a bad change! they've subconsiously become accustomed to this much calmer, chatty, and not any less expressive and physically affective Modo. However, when he begins to suddenly become busier, miss practice, and be as if not MORE invested in his phone than Olivia, it becomes hard not to notice.Bookmarked by book_ghost

Summary
Balon and Alannys' last son isn't...right. He's less man than anything Victarion ever seen, less baby and more creature that makes his brother demand he be killed. But...it's a baby and he looks like a Greyjoy underneath the strange features. And if there's one thing Victarion Greyjoy isn't it's a kinslayer, especially not babies.
Catelyn was well aware that there were strange things in the world, things spoken about in the nights to scare children. She never expected to find one brought to her home. For its mere presence to threaten her entire family if its true nature was to be discovered. So she does what any good mother and wife would, and she keeps the secret for the sake of saving her family from another war.
And the secret remains even when Theon gets into things he shouldn't and grows too close to Robb for Catelyn's comfort. It remains even when Jon Snow is wrapped up too tightly in blood that no one realizes holds power.
