   Summary

   A devil is a manifestation of human fear. Where did they come from? How did they exist? Why is God so cruel that he made such things? Why is hell a thing? If God can’t unmake them, then he isn't powerful. If God made these things to punish humanity, then he isn't kind.

   And the answer?

   God is dead, dead long ago; the devil was his mistake that he can’t undo.

   Heaven is ash
   Hell is frozen
   Mankind is prey.
   The devils, eternal predators.

   No God remains to shepherd man—only the Father endures.
