Frowning, Molly turns to retrieve two mugs from the cupboard. As she slides them from the cupboard she asks, “You think they’ll come back?”
“It isn’t likely they’ve left,” Freddie explains, eyes trailing over Molly’s hands as she sets the mugs down and pours their coffee. “Jack Crawford is looking for them in Florence. Hannibal’s ex-psychiatrist turned up a week ago missing a leg. You tell me what continent they’re on.”
The mug Molly is holding clatters against the counter top loudly, and coffee sloshes everywhere.
“Excuse me?” Molly finds herself laughing, sharp voiced and flabbergasted. She turns again, enough to see Freddie, smirking and staring back at her from the kitchen table.

This u? Bucky rolls his eyes. Of course Sam can identify Bucky, even in a photo where Bucky’s in profile and barely even in frame, the popped collar of his coat covering almost all of his face. There’s a reason Bucky had strenuously avoided every possible security camera during his time on the run. Sam’s got keener eyes than his falcon namesake.
You know you don’t need to hunt me down any more, right? I’m not on the run.
Old habits are hard to break, is Sam’s answer. Then, a few seconds later, Nice coat.
Bucky doubts Sam means it in quite the same way Agent Marcos had. In fact, Bucky kind of suspects Sam of being sarcastic. If so, fuck him. It’s a great coat. Thanks, Bucky texts back. Online shopping is great.
Getting some retail therapy in, huh.
Retail therapy? Bucky googles the term, and yeah, okay, maybe that is what Bucky’s doing. Sure, Bucky tells him. It’s going better than actual therapy.
Spoiler alert: it is not, in fact, going much better than actual therapy.
