After his whole life being here he became used to his routine, and that included hot sunny days and cold windy nights. Nacho became used to that. But he also became tired of it. There had to be a way out of it, he thought. He never realized there wasn’t. So when he found himself wrapped tightly between Lalo’s arms he thought it was just another fork in the road of his way out.

There was nothing and nobody stopping him. Except… how could he do that to Ryan?
Butcher regards the boy still passed out on the other side of the room and the answer comes easily enough—with a lot of guilt and self-loathing.
