    “No.” It was the only thing Satoru could say. Shoko stopped where she stood and stared at him.

    “No?”

    “I said, no.” Satoru pushed himself off the wall and pivoted to face Shoko, head held high. “That's not how this is going to go.” He grinned, almost mad as he grappled with the moment. “He doesn't get to run away. That bastard—he’s not allowed to get me teen pregnant, break up with me in front of the Colonel, and vanish on me!"

    Or; in the wake of Geto Suguru's defection, Satoru reveals that he's pregnant. He also refuses to let Suguru remain defected, and sets out to drag Suguru back by his stupid gauged ears if it's the last thing he does before becoming a (single) parent.

    “Woah,” said a familiar voice.

    There was no question who it belonged to, and Suguru went still. He should never have sent that text, should never have come back to this damned crêpe stand. Collecting himself quickly, he tugged Nanako behind him as he stood, turned, and smiled at Satoru Gojo. “Yo, Satoru,” he said brightly. “It's been a long time.”

    Satoru’s blue eyes were wide behind his round glasses, the glow of Limitless making them look unearthly bright. He dressed casually, with a button up shirt and a jacket slung over his shoulder. “Do you have kids?” he blurted. There were bags under his eyes, visible when he tilted his head. Despite the situation, Suguru was sorry to see how tired he looked.
