Allelopathy is a process wherein an organism produces biochemicals to affect the organisms around it. There are two general classifications for these biochemicals (known as allelochemicals) where they are either harmful, or "detrimental" to the surrounding organisms or helpful/"beneficial"
Or; After Dutch's death in the first Red Dead Redemption, he wakes up back in Colter in 1899, with all his memories remaining. How Dutch will utilize this knowledge to change the fate of the Van Der Linde gang remains unseen, and whether or not his newly informed decisions will help them or hurt them is an effect that can only be truly felt in the long run.

Arthur’s body was liquid under the bastard's hands, every inch of him pliant, thighs spread wide over Dutch’s lap like he’d been made to fit there. The tent’s lamplight painted his skin rose-gold, sweat glistening along the curve of his collarbones beneath his open collar, the dip of his throat, the many… many patches of red marks and bites along his skin. His eyes were half-lidded, pupils blown wide, mouth slack – a frown jittering at the edge of it, caught somewhere between shame and surrender, too far gone to claw his way back. Dutch’s fingers worked inside him with hasting, cruel precision, twisting just right to wring another broken noise from the blonde’s throat.
Sacrilege.
Holy.
Something like that.
John’s nostrils flared. He wanted to touch – God help him.
John walks in on something he never expected. And the aftermath...

Summary
Part of him knows Dutch and Hosea are getting frustrated about the lack of progress on finding the Braithwaite’s gold or the Gray’s treasure or whatever the hell it is. Part of him knows everyone is getting nervous about being in one place for so long. Part of him knows that Dutch is stressed and tired, that he’s probably just taking out his frustrations, that he probably doesn’t really mean what he’s saying…
But another, much bigger part of Arthur is stunned and indignant and hurt. And, like a wounded animal, the hurt quickly turns to rage.
“Well how ‘bout you go make us some money, Dutch?”
“…Excuse me?”
(Or: Arthur leaves.)
