Shuichi smiled softly, taking Kokichi’s hand in his. “And then I can announce to this entire kingdom I have no intention of taking a bride.” In one swift motion, he lifted his arm to press a soft kiss on the back of his love’s hand. “For I’ve already found the man I intend to marry.”
He reveled in the bright red flush on his boyfriend’s face, his cheeks practically the color of the garden’s roses as he stood dumbfounded. “You…” he stammered, almost too flustered to speak. “You are such a sap.”

Summary
He could never exactly ever resist Kokichi when he had that twinkle in his eyes, which is how he found himself in the common room of the class dorm building on Halloween night, costume fangs sitting uncomfortably in his mouth, and anxiety slowly curling and making a home in his chest.
He did not have a hopeless crush, thank you. Tsumugi had just so happened to have made Kokichi such an adorable little sheep costume that made him want to just take the smaller boy into a hug and never let him go. That’s not hopeless or sad at all…right?

Shuichi. Of course it’s Shuichi. Stupidly smart, wonderful, pretty Shuichi. One of the only people who seemed to actually enjoy his presence in the game (for the most part anyway). The only one who wanted to actually get to know him.
The one he had to go and fall in love with.
Of all people to find him here, it just had to be him.

All Kokichi had to do was walk down the hallway, grab a small snack to make up for yet another skipped dinner, then dart back into his assigned recovery room before alerting anyone else of his presence.
What he neglected to consider though, was the fact that when you’re dealing with 16 traumatized teenagers, all of whom are privy to horrific nightmares and insomnia, something is always bound to happen, even in the most ridiculous hours of the night.

“I wish you’d been my sire. You’re not so… distracted.” Pyro admitted, imagining it. Owen wouldn’t treasure him, he wouldn’t expect that. But Owen didn’t feel anything towards anyone, there would be no one for him to be jealous of.
The long haired vampire paused. “I would’ve ignored you. And I would’ve hated being called a sire.” Owen picked up a stick, breaking it into little pieces as he spoke.
Pyro couldn’t help imagining himself as that stick, fractured and tiny in someone else’s palms.
“You’d have at least let me be free, instead of making me some kind of unwanted servant”

Summary
Closer like this, Scott can… appreciate the details of Pyro's looks. Shaggy brown hair falls across his shoulders, much unlike the usual, when they put it in a small ponytail. A mole sits at the corner of his mouth, and piercing, ironically ice-cold eyes like the mountain sky stare out into space.
He looks absurdly pretty. Scott wants to kiss him.
Scott is almost knocked out of breath by the thought. It's insane, and terrible, and exciting. Fuck.
OR: Scott is observing the castle at night, and is soon joined by Pyro.

Summary
When Scott says that the cold doesn't bother him, he does mean it. He's used to the cold, and he far prefers it to the heat. Working under the sun, sweating, uncomfortable hotness; he'll take the cold any day.
It's just that the ice magic that has awakened within him is extremely cold. All of the time. No matter what he does.
It seems like Pyro has the opposite issue. Perhaps they can solve each other's problems.
