Summary
When Ed Teach gets into a car accident on the road to nowhere, a kindly family offers him a ride, and he is accidentally whisked away to Phillip Island at the beginning of its weekend-long whale festival. Shortly after he arrives, Ed meets whale watching tour guide, Stede Bonnet, and Stede takes Ed under his wing to experience everything the island has to offer. In the course of the weekend, Ed comes to terms with some pain in his past, and he finds the courage to begin a new journey where he may finally find true happiness.
