Summary

Detective Kawamaru set the handcuffs on the desk with a deep thump, a clear message that she was prepared to use them again if needed. “I understand the strain you are under, Dynamight,” she said, puzzling Kaminari even further. “But since you were the one to arrest the suspect, I’m going to need a statement from both of you.”
Bakugou glared at the detective, waiting for her to back down like any sane person would.
“It won’t take long,” Kawamaru said firmly. “You can leave once you’ve answered just a few of my questions and we’ve assigned you a monitor for the next twelve hours.”
“Wait, what?” Kaminari asked, head whipping to look at her. “A monitor? For twelve hours? Why?”
“Because that’s how long the suspect’s quirk generally lasts,” Kawamaru answered shortly.
“But he wasn’t hit with her…”
Kaminari’s voice faltered as he finally took a good, long look at his friend.

“Umm,” Midoriya said nervously. “I-it’s Kacchan. There is always a spark.”With another round of boos from Kaminari and Jirou, Ashido took a page out of Mineta’s playbook and started shaking Midoriya violently. “I mean like a romantic spark!”
Midoriya blanched. “You think Kacchan is interested in Utsushimi?”
He seemed doubtful, so Ashido shoved Kirishima’s phone in his face. “Do you see this smile? That is the smile of boy who is head-over-heels smitten, am I right?”
Midoriya actually took the time to look at the picture critically, though he shot an uneasy look towards Kirishima before he answered. “Umm, y-yeah,” he said as he started to back away, hiding behind Uraraka like a shield. “It definitely looks like Kacchan is in love.”
How could Kirishima have been so stupid?

“It was so crazy, man!” Kaminari laughed as he watched Kirishima stomp around the living room trying to find where his phone had landed. “So, Phantom Idiot comes bursting through our doors, right? Claiming that if Class 3-A could actually run as fast as we all run our mouths, than maybe we wouldn’t have been the slowest class in the sports festival this year.”
“What,” Kirishima said flatly, on his hands and knees searching at this point.
“I know! Believe me, I know! He is so stupid! But it’s Monoma, so we were all going to ignore it. Besides, Kendou had already shown up and was dragging him out the door at that point, but the dumbass had to get in one more jab, which was surprisingly about Deku of all people, and Uraraka,” he broke down laughing again, barely able to get the story out. “Fucking Uraraka just lost it and challenged 3-B to a game of-”
“Tag?” Kirishima shouted from underneath one of the couches, having finally found his phone and read through the myriad of texts he had received. “You’re all playing a game of tag?”

“I’m fine, Shiro,” Keith said, brow furrowing when the only response he got back was a scoff. “I said I’m fine,” he emphasized, hissing when Shiro angrily swiped antibiotic across his wound.
“You may be fine now,” Shiro said derisively. “But that doesn’t change the fact that, once again, you ran headfirst into the enemy without even a second thought for your own safety.”
“Me?” Keith questioned as his hand reached up to brush aside Shiro’s hair that was currently matted with blood. Matt couldn’t see the wound itself, but it was clear from the way Shiro jerked away from Keith’s fingers that the skin surrounding the area was tender. “Have you taken a look in the mirror recently, Shiro?”
“Why?” Shiro deflected as he turned to the cabinet to grab a fresh package of gauze. “Am I suddenly wearing a Blades uniform and butchered my hair into a mullet?”
