"Don't we need to learn math," Sasha says suddenly, eyes springing open. He leans forward, doing admirably to ignore the earsplitting bundle in front of him. "We need to learn—algebra. Triangles. We can just go outside so we don't bother you—"
W cackles. "You wish, kid," she sneers. "Class is on hold for the next fifteen to twenty minutes; everyone point and laugh at Sasha and Eno and their terrible child."

"No!" Kayn exclaims, out loud, then audibly shuts his mouth. "No, Rhaast. Um…"
He looks at Shen and Zed, who both look rather startled. Kayn has what looks to be a man in his apartment. Who they have never seen before. Who is tall and muscle-y and smells far too strongly of blood and ash. He sleeps on his couch. He has, Kayn thinks with growing hysteria, his own toothbrush in the bathroom.
Rhaast sighs, sounding far too bored. Fucking asshole. "We're—"
"We're dating," Kayn blurts, then almost slaps himself in the face. Behind him, Rhaast chokes. "Rhaast is my boyfriend."Or: Kayn and Rhaast pretend to date. It doesn't go very well.
