Robin is just a normal girl, who wants to be a reporter. Or at least thats what everyone thinks. She has powers and came to earth on a space ship that landed in a random field in Kansas. She doesn't know where she came from or what she is, all she knows is that she's different.
But on her first day at the planet Nancy Wheeler, a goregous girl, drags her and her best friend Steve into danger and she must decide to use her powers for the greater good as Supergirl.
Or: Robin as Supergirl au where Nancy is Lois Lane, and Steve is Jimmy.

Summary
Nancy had been working at the lame little ice cream place at the mall for barely a week. She never held any hopes that it would be a gratifying or personally stimulating job, let alone that it would help her on her dreams of dedicating herself to journalism full time until she was successful enough to get out of Hawkins and even Indiana someday. However, she’d never expected it to be as bad as it was.
Long story short, Nancy couldn’t wait to get rid of her Scoops Ahoy coworker, Robin Buckley.

Nancy stared at her, her expression shifted. Not angry. Not hurt. Focused. Eerily similar to her I'm gonna commit a crime face. “Robin.”
“Nancy?” Robin tilted her head. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
Nancy stepped closer. Close enough that Robin’s back brushed the edge of the desk behind her. Then her hands fell to Robin's hips, keeping her in place,
“Robin Buckley,” Nancy deliberately tipped her head up so their gazes were locked, “I underestimated how catastrophically bad you're at social cues.”
Robin huffed. “Rude, I told you I was.”
“Look at me.”
Robin did. She always did when Nancy asked like that.
“We have been dating,” Nancy said slowly, enunciating every word, “for nearly six months.”
Or,
Steve is needling Robin into finally landing herself a girlfriend—both unaware she already has one at home.

Summary
And thus begins the cycle.
At the beginning of every week, Robin and Nancy exchange papers. Robin hands in a short story, or the first few chapters of a project she’s working on. Nancy gives Robin some essays, or some articles she’s working on for the paper.
Nancy always thought that if she ever somehow got into fiction, it would, at the very least, be the published kind. But something keeps her coming back to the bleachers every Monday morning to swap projects with Robin Buckley.

“Robin. Upstairs.”
This time, Robin wasn’t that surprised about Nancy picking her. She didn’t feel arrogant enough to assume Nancy would choose her for everything since they first kissed at the library… and Nancy’s bedroom… and also in the middle of the road. But that was at least more than enough to make this little act not completely shocking to her. So, instead of making a fool of herself and blurting out “Really? Are you sure? Me?” like some part of her wanted, Robin nodded and saluted Nancy, more than ready to follow her to the ends of the world, or the second floor of the creepiest house imaginable, the same thing really.

“You really are a weird runner!” Nancy laughed from behind the steering wheel.
Robin couldn’t help it, she threw her head back laughing, and clapped her hands. “Oh! Seriously?! You’re going to make fun of me now, Wheeler? You’re mad! We just… did we just do that?!”

“Robin,” Nancy said, with a sudden seriousness to her tone, “You don’t actually have to wear it if you don’t want to, okay? If it’s too much…”
“No, no, it’s okay, uh, thanks,” Robin said, shaking her head. Simply knowing that Nancy wouldn’t actually pressure her to compromise who she was as a person made it all seem bearable, even the abominable ruffles of the blouse.
“Do you, um, want me to, uh, leave the room?”
That was the question that definitely staked Robin through the heart.

Summary
“Elvis cloned by aliens,” Nancy read from the screen in a tone that suggested many things at once. She was making fun of it, she hated even having to say it out loud, she resented the entire situation she was in, and she would have no problem blaming Robin for making her see those ridiculous words with her own two eyes.
However, Robin could’ve bet her entire life that some part of Nancy was amused. Nancy had to think that was funny. Who wouldn’t? And if only Robin could make Nancy Wheeler laugh once then she would die happily, she would be able to call her entire life a success regardless of everything else in her past or her future.
