Summary
They’d heard about each other. Of course they had. It would have been hard to avoid, with how small the competitive hockey world was. They were often thought to be one in the same. Two sides of the same coin. They were equals; natural-born enemies. Tim hated every second of it.
Not the “best in the world” part — he would never get tired of that. Rather, the countless comparisons painted between him and Conner fucking Kent.

Tim and Kon are both professional hockey players in a world that wants to do nothing but isolate them from each other. They try to find themselves, somewhere in the midst of dozens of games, press interviews, and this stupid athletic feud that just won't let up. -

He doesn’t want to say anything. Really, he doesn’t. It’s just that Tim looks so beautiful in the moonlight, and the rays from the light above are cast on to the crown of his head, creating a sort of perpetual halo woven into his hair. It’s just that they haven’t seen each other in so long, and Kon doesn't know when they will again.

The moment of truth came. Would Robin deny it, under the guise of some new plans she just happened to remember? Would she just push it off for another day? Would she laugh in Nancy’s face and hiss, as if? (Unlikely, but Nancy didn’t trust her judgement when it came to Robin. Anything was possible).
But no. None of these happened. She gave a bright “Sweet!” with a smile that looked something close to genuine, and that was all.
