Summary
He felt twisted sick, the air refused to stay in his lungs and his throat burned fiercely. He couldn't speak when for so long all he had were his words. He couldn't feel aside from cold familiarity that had been his life for so ages...and his name—he knew it, it was there in the tip of his tongue, on the edge of his thoughts, and yet it was gone again. Taken from him. Stolen, yet not. The Void churned within him, but it was broken. He hadn't felt like this in two years. He hadn't—this was all wrong. The Outsider was dead; he wasn't the Outsider anymore. Wasn't he?
Billie Lurk wakes up on her bed in the old Commerce Building ten days before her exile from the Whalers. She has a void eye and a void arm that only she can see, memories of events that haven't happened, powers she can't explain, and a connection to a boy who had once been an Eldritch whale deity whose name she knew but cannot speak, cannot think. Something had gone horribly wrong and the path of destiny irrevocably changed.

Summary
He’s half-dead and more when he drags himself from the river, and Samuel spends the ride back to the pub alternating between wondering if this hell-dragged tattered shadow of a man is going to breathe in once, twice, cough on the brine in the air and fall to rest his bones on the riverbed right before him, or if this is already one of the silt-dwelling ghosts that haunt the mud and the hagfish below that pulled itself onto his boat, dripping muck and pain down all over his seats.
Samuel Beechworth, thinking on Corvo Attano back at the Hound's Pit Pub after fetching him from Coldridge.

Summary
She could break the Empress like a twig, she knew full well. Could pry her mind open like a river krust; leave behind a drooling husk plagued by nightmares that’d leave her clawing out her own eyes in horror. There was a part of her that itched to do so, even now. And yet...
“A drink,” Delilah found herself saying, not bothering to hide her amusement. “Why not?”--
Two years before the events of Dishonored, Jessamine receives an unexpected visit one evening from her half-sister. Delilah, too, is not expecting how her visit ends up going...

Summary
He called them Whale Dreams. Only to himself, mind. They were warnings, each and every one.
Samuel Beechworth was touched, not by the Outsider, but by a whale, years before Dunwall. It doesn't change anything. Unless, perhaps, it does.
