‘Could you repeat that, Jeeves? It sounded as if you asked me to replace this cummerbund upon my person.’
A dignified sort of cough escaped him. ‘That is correct, sir.’

“To be altogether honest with you, I’m not exactly sure I could have pulled off the scheme on my own. Deuced difficult to make the leap from roly-poly puddings to aniseed trousers without so much as a tin of sardines.”
Double drabbles inspired by each episode of the mostly lost 1965 BBC TV series, with a tiny bit of help (i.e. some heavy Wodehousian lifting) from the original stories they adapt and a little play on how they differ from them.

Summary
Bertie is called to Brinkley Court yet again to help save Milady's Boudoir. While he and Jeeves attempt to get a lady cartoonist to contribute a serial to the old rag, Bertie keeps accidentally applying his unique brand of charm on his valet. Poetry is quoted, valets are rescued from minor inconveniences to great effect, and misadventures and misunderstandings ensue. An ode to my favorite Wodehouse conventions :)
