Ilya sighs dreamily. There's wine on his breath, sweet and acrid. If Shane were to lick into the hot well of Ilya's mouth, could he taste the flavor on his lips? Does Ilya prefer red wine or white— or is he too young to develop a palette that he even has a preference? Alcohol is alcohol. Shane was nineteen once, he remembers, in memories he can't quite walk through anymore and whispers of nostalgia that hit him when he least expects, that he too used to drink whatever was available.
