Devastating and an interesting concept that’s executed really well. Dick was groomed by Thalia, takes Damian and runs for their lives, ultimately ends up back in Gotham and tries to scrape back a life for them. No capes. Need to read the final chapter when it comes out.

Dick rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “I’m mostly used to sparring with my little brothers, it’s kind of just habit, and I was having fun. I didn’t want the match to be over too quick.”
“Too quick?” Derek asked, eyebrows raised. “I’m twice your size, kid.”
Dick shrugged. “So’s Bruce and we’re pretty much tied at this point, or at least according to the score board the kids started to keep for Saturday spars.”
“Saturday spars?” Derek repeated, following him towards the locker room.
Dick flashed him a smile. “What? Don’t have any weird family traditions?”
“Not ones that include hitting each other,” Derek said

Started, it’s interesting to see Dick puzzled out from someone else’s perspective. I like the writing too
Finished now, loved it and was an amazing intro to my brand new Criminal minds knowledge. Very fun, solid writing, would recommend. Also, very good plot and pacing! I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was very good all round.
