Ekko’s voice cut off. His eyes widened, darting from Caitlyn’s stomach to her face, then to Vi. “What the—” He blinked hard, shaking his head as if recalibrating. “Wait. Are you serious?”
Vi froze for a beat, then huffed out a laugh, rubbing the back of her neck. “Yeah. Surprise?”
Caitlyn’s cheeks flushed faintly, though her voice stayed even. “It wasn’t exactly how we intended you to find out.”
Ekko pushed off the pillar, staring between them like the world had just tilted sideways. “You’ve been working with us, running around Zaun, pregnant—for how long?”
“Five months,” Vi admitted, pride and protectiveness warring in her grin.

Summary
“And meanwhile you charge them for every second they’re human,” Vi shoots back. “While they sit there, crying, you’re setting a timer and a price tag.”
Caitlyn’s jaw tightens at that, and for a moment, she’s silent — but her eyes don’t waver from Vi’s. “I think you’re scared because you can’t control this the way you can control a gym routine. ”
That hits closer than Vi wants to admit. Something flashes across her face, quick and sharp, and she hates that Caitlyn notices.
“Respectfully,” Vi mutters, shoulders squaring, “you don’t know a damn thing about me.”
“Respectfully,” Caitlyn echoes without missing a beat, “I do not think you would want me to.”

“I loved the version of you before the war,” Vi said. “But not because you were unbreakable. Not because you had your shit together. You don’t have to earn shit or match expectations that were put on you since before you were born. I’m not saying you should give up your ambitions or your drive. I will take care of you through all of it, always, you know that. But please, Caitlyn, just try letting yourself be sometimes,” She wrapped her hands around Cait’s neck, putting her forehead against hers, whispering, ”Just be.”
Caitlyn breathed out, leaning into Vi’s touch.
Then chuckled.
“So we’re on a full name basis now,” she smiled devilishly, “I thought my name was Cupcake. Romance is dead,”

After the war, Caitlyn and Vi are learning what normalcy means—between flashbacks, burnt stew, quiet kisses, panic attacks, and inappropriate jokes at wildly inappropriate times.
This is a story about healing in inches, about the softness that survives, and about love that stays—steady, grounding, a little rough around the edges.

Summary
Sunday is Isak’s ideal day. The day he looks forward to.
This Sunday, Isak wakes up at 1pm, and the room is dark. The bed is empty and there’s no smell of breakfast. Even hasn’t slept next to him all week. The only thing that’s the same as every other Sunday for the past 23 months is the fact that Isak doesn’t want to get out of bed.
