Summary

Andrew, especially, caught his attention, but Neil doesn’t really think about it until Homecoming dance night ends in an insane way and the two of them now have a secret to share and to keep.

Summary
This is not fair. Jean has spent—he was—for five years of his teenage life, Jean had prayed for Kevin to even spare a glance his way. He’d hoped beyond hope, hoped enough to never hope again, that Kevin could take his eyes off the court for a single moment and look at him. The only comfort in any of it had been that Kevin could not like Jean back because he did not like men. To hear now that Kevin does makes the truth of the situation impossibly harder to bear. Fifteen years old Jean-Yves Moreau would have shaken out of his skin at the new bit of information.
Twenty-four year old Jean Moreau feels his mouth go dry.
It is shameful, but impossible, not to wonder for just a moment what would have happened had Kevin realized this sooner. In teenage Jean’s mind, there was never a chance, never anything to reach for. How different would things be if he knew there was the smallest one?

Frustration churns in Levi’s chest like a kettle of boiling water, building hotter with every word Erwin lets out of his mouth.
“But me…? I’m replaceable.”
And the teapot’s gone to whistle.
“To hell, you are! Maybe to the Scouts, maybe in a million fucking years could the Scouts find a Commander as competent as you. But not to me. I can’t replace you.”
Finally. Levi’s decided to be selfish, to center his own feelings for once in his pathetic life.
And only after those words spew from his lips like a cat’s hiss does he recognize the gravity that they beckon.
He shuts his lips yet the intense glare in his eyes remains locked on Erwin.
How dare he look so fucking surprised…?

“Ack!” Lance exclaims. He stumbles between Keith and Acxa and turns around, immediately nervous. His face reddens. “Uh, actually, I was wondering if—maybe, if you want to, you could have dinner with me tonight? And my family. Dinner with me and my family?”
Behind Keith and Acxa—both looking perplexed—Hunk flashes him two thumbs up.
“My mom’s cooking for our last night together,” Lance adds. His stomach is churning with nerves. “I—I just thought you could join us.”
Keith’s face is bright red, and Lance, for a split second, thinks he’s going to say no. He’s been turned down so many times, he wouldn’t be surprised. “I—” Keith stammers. “I—erm—are you—”
Acxa elbows Keith sharply in the shoulder. “Say yes, you idiot,” she hisses, loud enough that Lance is pretty sure the entire hallway can hear her.

Summary
One singular conversation had opened up a Pandora’s box that Keith never even knew existed. Lance likes guys, and, funnily enough, Keith is a guy.
Not that Lance would ever like Keith, though, even though he’s a guy, because there were millions of guys on Earth, millions more in space, and along with that, millions of women too. Keith was probably at the very bottom of the list of people Lance would want to date, just ranking above Zarkon and Sendak, for all he knew. Speaking of which, what kind of guys would Lance date anyway?
Keith bounces his leg, hands clammy as he tries to think of anything else. Hunk would start prepping dinner soon, maybe he could give some opinions on what he’d want to eat? Or perhaps he could even offer to help Hunk out in the kitchen! Yeah, that’s what he’d do-
“What kind of guy is Lance even into, anyway?”
Goddamit.
