Summary
Perseus Jackson is a son of Poseidon—product of a broken oath, packing more sass than sense, with the ocean’s temper yet none of its mercy, and a prophecy already gunning for him.
But he is also the son of Sally Jackson—the mortal who caught a god’s eye and out-stubborned the storm. Barely out of childhood herself, she wound up with a child who wept pearls and limpet teeth—and still managed to keep him hidden.
A disastrous field trip to the New York Aquarium unravelled all her efforts.
Now seven-year-old Percy’s colliding headfirst with Greek mythology, Sally’s stuck refereeing between gods, monsters, and aggressively helpful nature spirits, and the family secret is on life support.
Sure, more protectors might sound nice—until you realize none of them are equipped to wrangle a demigod overflowing divinity, and the only things keeping him hidden anymore are sheer luck, opportunism, and just enough self-delusion to qualify as a superpower.
OR:
Join feral-child Percy on his quest to spread (minor) chaos, dodge smiting attempts, and collect all his half-siblings like they’re emotionally damaged Pokémon—while fate stumbles after him and heroic deeds get done more or less as an afterthought.- Words:

Summary
“You’re hurt,” she whispered. “I’m sorry, I don’t have anything for healing with me… I thought I could portal us back to the keep but I guess I messed it up.”
“Who-“ Edmund swallowed, trying again. “Who are you?”
“I’m C-“ the girl stopped, frowning. “…Call me Fiona,” she settled on, and Edmund nodded. “What about you?”
“Edmund,” he offered. “I- you killed Ginarrbrik,”Or:
Ciri’s powers act up again, portalling her into the camp of the White Witch, where she meets a boy she decides she has to save.
Edmund just watched a girl randomly appear in front of him, kill the dwarf that had been torturing him, and then portal them both somewhere else he doesn’t recognize. He’s quite sure this is the most miserable he’s ever been in his life. And who exactly is this ‘White Wolf’ he’s hearing about?Series

“What if it had been Oliwia, buttercup?” Lambert asks.
Jaskier goes still. Little Oliwia, barely sixteen and still as naive as any noble child gets - if she had been sent as a sacrifice, that would have been - “Monstrous,” he says, through a dry throat. “That would be monstrous, and a grave insult to the Wolf, that anyone would think he would do harm to such an innocent - that he would be that sort of monster.”

Summary
Jon doesn’t even have any real opinion about the Starks - he didn’t hate Robb Stark in school like he probably should have, considering the history between their families, but they also weren’t friends, either. But what he does have an opinion about is this tradition; wealthy families auctioning off their daughters to the highest bidder.
Not all of them do it anymore, though. Most wealthy kids end up dating each other, anyway, so it's not like the arranging is always necessary. He’d always heard good things about Ned Stark, and so Jon had been surprised to hear that he had agreed to the proposal. Selling off his daughter to save his failing business.
