Set before the show starts!
It was a normal day for John, being the labrat at the mercy of Vogelbaum. But one day he met someone inside his dream:
“John, look! It’s VoughtLand!”
John looked incredulously at his surroundings, “You brought me outside?”
Young Hughie smiled with the radiance of a thousand sun, “I wanted to see you happy.”
A fic where John has the power to meet someone in his mind. He felt so lonely that he accidentally dragged Hughie into his dream. Every day they played together, until one day Hughie moved to New York and John couldn't contact him anymore. The scientist drugged him everyday to get rid of his hallucinations.
But all of a sudden a stranger appeared in his dream, a never before occurrence.
The stranger stepped backwards in fear, “Are you… John?”

Hughie Campbell likes Annie a lot.
Hughie is a bit of a romantic, showing his love through sincere and thoughtful gifts along with sending lots and lost of letters. Although in his current circumstances where he had to hide his connection with Annie, he should've realised that his usual way of showing affection is flawed. But he selfishly wanted to show Annie his sincerity so he did it anyway, sending gifts and letters unter the pretext of her number 1 fan, but when Annie read it, she would definitely know it's him.
Hughie: "I already wrote down the room number." run when he sees Homelander
Receptionist: "This looks like a 7 but that can't be, room 7 is empty. Oh it must be room 1. His handwriting is very misleading"Homelander: "??? Why is there a bouquet of flowers on my drawer? And this letter... Is it a code??"
