Summary
Now, Kiyoomi has never thought of himself as a romantic.
He doesn’t remember ever wishing to have a romantic comedy of his own, with all of the lovey dovey clichés that had everyone he knew—especially Motoya—in tears and rejoicing at the mere thought that, one day, someone would come into their lives to fix all the wrongs and turn everything into a pink-tinted fairytale. No, Kiyoomi had never wanted any of that; it had always felt like a waste of time, of effort, to keep looking for someone he would, most likely, never meet.
That is, of course, until Atsumu became a new variable in his life—again.

They say mornings are meant for gazing at the stars that have been hovering above the world for eons, to take a moment and throw your arms up and out into a large, welcoming and very much needed stretch. They say mornings exist to bring you back into the realm of reality after merely a few hours of submersion in a land your conscious self can’t even dream of getting to know, and yet.
Yet, for the last few years, Atsumu hasn’t been able to tell fantasy from reality — not when he wakes up with Kiyoomi’s back pressed against his chest and hears his sleepy voice asking for five more minutes, please.

This time, it sounds like he’s been caught red-handed stealing snacks from the kitchen cupboard, like he’s poured more sugar than he should have into his coffee, like he’s a child who knows no better than to laugh, because oops is all he can think of when faced with the consequences of his own actions.

Summary
Yes, that feeling — the one that makes Keiji feel like he’s at the top of a rollercoaster, the anticipation building up at the pit of his stomach and flooding his veins at lightspeed; it only reaches its peak when, laughing, Osamu leans against the counter and wipes away the few grains of rice that always seem to stick to his chin, no matter how careful he is. When that happens, Keiji doesn’t even bother holding onto the cart, throwing his arms up and screaming that this wasn’t supposed to happen, but how could it not when he looks at me like that?

Mehrak has this habit of opening Kaveh’s door when it’s not fully closed, nosing her way into his office and then leaping onto his lap to snuggle her head into his stomach. So he’s not entirely unsurprised when he hears the door creak open, slow and deliberate the way his cat always does it, and he doesn’t even look up to check that it’s her before he speaks.
“Not right now, solnyshko,” he calls distractedly, too focused on his current sketch.
There’s silence, as there usually is since Mehrak can’t actually respond to him. Then, “Don’t be so vulgar, senior.”
Kaveh accidentally calls Al-Haitham a pet name in a different language, and then he keeps doing it. It's too bad he forgets that Al-Haitham is fluent in all of them.
