Summary
It isn't quite a love triangle. For one thing, Clark's the only one romantic enough to even think the word 'love'. For another, Clark and Bruce would be beating the holy hell out of each other even without Lois' involvement. And if Lois was aware of the secrets they were keeping, she'd be beating the holy hell out of the both of them. Overall, Bruce's visit to Metropolis has been a mixed bag for everyone involved.

“So close, my man. Same principles really. One team wins, one team loses. You just gotta write about what happens in between. Please!”
“I’ve got a date–” Jimmy tries to decline again, cut off by Lois interrupting with a smirk, “I thought they were ‘informants’?”
The withered glare she receives in return only pleases her further.“Wait.” Clark says, spinning around in his chair. That small frown is back again, finger pointed in her direction. “You were seeing an informant Friday night… you couldn’t come to karaoke. You could have told us you had a date, you didn’t have to lie.”
“Oh no, Sweetie.” Cat coos sweetly, although her leering gaze is anything but. “Lois doesn’t date. Or at least, not the way you’re thinking.”
