Summary
Years had gone by, Hades was defeated, and peace was brought back to the world. Everything was going so well, and sure, a few squabbles here and there amongst the gods. It wasn't the same as what had happened however, so no one could complain.
However, things take a horrible turn when Hades is seemingly resurrected. And along with him, is a new sort of big bad is there as well. He brings new monsters, and new problems. His devotion to Hades is insane, but someone knows how insane he is. A new hero, well someone who gets the job done (not always the right way). It takes some convincing, however, to get them to help their cause too.

Summary
Jon has a sensory overload attack. Martin comes and calms them down.
"The day had just been too much for Jon. Everything had been too much, that was the only way to describe it.
He needed a lovely emptiness, one unlike the painful expanse in his chest, constricting itself tight from the pure brightness of everything.
But there was Martin, gently holding his arms. Talking in a low, sweet tone."

Summary
The moment Martin leaves the Lonely is the moment he realizes that it has taken something from him. He is left with the realization that the Lonely fog had been the only thing keeping him whole, keeping him from feeling the aching hollows of his own sorrow.
Speaking makes it worse, so he doesn't. He almost expects Jon to leave, to grow tired of him, incomplete as he is. But Jon doesn't.
Or, Martin is mute after leaving the Lonely, and he and Jon learn how to be people again, together, in the comfort of the Scottish Highlands.

Bookmarker's Notes
I love communication, even when it's difficult
Lonely takes away verbal words but jokes on it, writing still exists 😌 -

Summary
“Well you look…”
“Kind of dreadful?”
“A little bit”
“I had an inkling, I might”
Jon’s lips barely move as speaks, and he coughs again.
“Are you…?”, Martin starts again, but Jon merely looks up at him, blinking with heavy lids and he closes his mouth.
“You have to narrow that down a bit, I’m afraid”
Even before Jon has finished his sentence, both of them go still.
