At the age of ten, everyone was given a superpower. Only one person could have a particular superpower at a time. There is only one person in the world that can fly, one person in the world that can teleport, one person in the world with laser vision.. And the second that person dies, someone new is born with that power. Of course, that brings some issues along with that. Not everyone out of the seven billion people in the world could have a good superpower. It is way more common to find people with a power of little to no use. Augustine once met someone who could, with their power, become one degree colder. That was it.
That’s what made Augustine hate the world. Out of every power one could get.. Augustine got the power to be hated.

"Couldn' sleep." Tommy mumbles, closing his eyes and pressing the side of his face into Wilbur's chest. He cups Tommy's cheek, tilting his head up to press a kiss to his hairline. "I don't see how I'm supposed to help, sweetheart, but I am honoured that you have chosen to come suffer in my company." Wilbur chuckles, kissing him on the forehead this time.
"Fuck you. It's- It's easier to fall asleep near you." Tommy grumbles, opening his eyes to glare at the elder. Wilbur coos, delighted, and beams down at the teen. Tommy huffs, pushing himself up.
"Wait, wait- Baby, no." Wilbur giggles, pulling Tommy back down, rolling onto his side and wrapping both arms around the blonde, effectively trapping him. "You're stuck with me now, darling." He hums, smug, burrying his face in Tommy's hair.
Or; Tommy has trouble sleeping, so goes to find Wilbur for comfort.

Wilbur tuts, the wind almost swallowing the words. Tommy has a feeling that Wilbur, who already walks insanely fast, is speedwalking.
Tommy huffs, flopping onto his back again.
"You can't make me do jack shit." Tommy protests, tracing shapes into the ceiling with his eyes.
