    At the age of 15, things changed.

    Izuku accomplished all this without a quirk.
    Or so he thought.
    With his best friend by his side, can he leave behind the only thing he's ever known and become a hero?
    Or will he fall back into the shadows?

    In which it's been five years since the fall of All For One. Five years since the war, when Endeavor was murdered at the hands of his eldest son.
    Five years since that son, his life goal completed, turned himself in, alongside the rest of the League of Villains.

    Five years is a long time to be locked in a cage. No one can guarantee what kind of monster will come out when you unlock it.

    But maybe you can, at the very least, save it.

    Then slowly blinked. And looked Hawks in the eyes. “Birdie…” he started, feeling suddenly very out of his depth. “Was that… about me?”

    The colour Hawks turned was a pretty fair marker that Dabi may have hit the nail on the head. The “Fuck, yeah, kinda,” he mumbled was a good supplementary document though, for the evidence folder.

    Hawks vagueposts about his crush on Twitter. Dabi happens to be following him. Shit goes down.
