I loooooooove youuuuuu I saw myself so much in Soobin and it sounds so funny but I genuinely think this fic gave me a new perspective on some things that have been haunting me for years.... wow. Anyways, its so funny how this fic has been sitting in my read later lists since almost the day it was posted. I knew I was gonna love it and putting off LOL but i was 100% right because I loved loved loved them so much. I was thinking that it was such an amazing idea to make Beomgyu be "at fault" over their first breakup because even though it sounds silly in retrospect, you really cannot be mad at him and his reasons somehow make perfect sense. And yes they are such mirrors of each other and I am so happy they are there to help each other when that darkness is too stubborn to tackle alone... Author thank you for this fic, it was extremely lovely, it has filled my heart with bubbly warmth

“I’m a virgin,” Beomgyu blurts.
“No, you’re not.”
Beomgyu grins. “No, I’m not. But you are,” he says, wrapping his legs around Soobin’s waist and pulling him in closer. “But don’t worry. Noona will take good care of you.”
Soobin’s eye twitches. “I think you mean oppa will take good care of you.”
Beomgyu wrinkles his nose. “Ew, no. Hyung is way better than that.”
“You can’t say hyung. You’re a girl.” Soobin flicks Beomgyu on the forehead.
“Ow.” He narrows his eyes and attempts to bite Soobin’s finger. “Then call me noona.”
Soobin narrows his eyes until they’re both just glaring at each other. He wants to fuck Beomgyu so bad he thinks he’ll go crazy. “Whatever. I’m just calling you Beomgyu.” He pauses. “With the agreed upon knowledge that you are a girl.”
Beomgyu nods, tightening his legs. “Yes. Beomgyu, who is a girl.” He prods at Soobin’s chest. “And Soobin, who is still hyung,” he says. This is the only fic ever that I was so distraught to have finished it that I did NOT mark it as read or bookmark it FOR 6 WHOLE FREAKING MONTHS AND YET IT HAS NOT LEFT MY MIND LIKE AT ALL IN THOSE 6 MONTHS. I kiiind of regret not bookmarking this when I read it back in early August cause it was just so fresh and i would have written like a 3000 essay on it but its alright cause I was also depressed and would have cried a thousand times more trying to write my thoughts. I WILL say that this story right here worked its way through on my top3 tubatu fics, it just HAS to be there. The thing I love the most is the characterizationssss! This has been the most Soobinie Soobin and the most Beomgyuful Beomgyu and Hyuka and Yeonjun and Taehyun were just sooooo perfectly written!!! The world felt so real, I could almost touch it! The plot, everything ahhhh it was just too too much fun to read, I enjoyed and savoured every second of reading this the first time and since then I have come sooo many times back to reread my fav parts. What is funny is this was my yearly longfic LOL it's funny how every year during summer where I have the time to just read fanfic nonstop i decide to read a longfic that will completely then change the trajectory of my year until next summer. I truely am still randomly thiking about second son soogyu a lot, that's where my mind goes when I try to fall asleep, like what are soogyu doing in that lil universe rn? This is not just my 2025 yealy summer longfic, I'm afraid it's a timestamp in my tubatu fic reading journey.... Author beautifulnotrealistic I am so so so grateful for this old lil story and I thank you so so so much for it, thank you!
March 2026 edit: Reread the whole thing ona whim because I was missing them sososososooo badly. I was busy with uni but whoooo cares when you have soogyu being their perfect selves on this fic. I never reread lonfics like this from start to end, exactly because they take so much time but I dont regret doing this with them!!! The story was just as exciting on a second read (tbh Ive read many scenes like a million times so idk if it counts as a second read) and I loved it just as much, if not even more because I noticed things I had missed the first time. I think theres gonna be another 3rd whole reread pending in another 6-7 months... I am just so obsessed with this fic
