Summary
Purple kneeled beside him, his hands shaking above him, “Green! Oh my god- what- what happened? Why are you here?”
Green blinked thickly, “Say all that ‘gain but slower.” His aching head lagging as he tried to process who was in front of him.
“Oh my god, what’s in your leg?” Purple’s hand finally found a resting place on his good arm, squeezing it lightly. Green glanced at his wound to remind himself, “Ah, a trident.”
“What?”
“My trident.” He clarified, clearing his throat, this was not how he imagined his day going, hell this wasn’t how he imagined his next meeting with Purple going, “I think I fell on it.”
“Yeah- yeah I can see that… oh god it’s in your leg as well.”
“Yeah.” Green nodded with a grimace, “It’s not great.”

Green throws himself full force into getting a trident, excited to eventually fly with Purple, only to manage to fly into a snowstorm and impale himself.
Purple helps.

Peter sighed and stared at his beer, turning the bottle to unseeingly stare at the label. “I don’t know, Wade, it’s just…” Peter trailed off.
“Just what?” Wade pushed gently. Sometimes with Peter, he had to lead the conversation back to the problem Peter was having when he trailed off. It happened often enough when real life responsibilities started to become fuddled with the super hero life and Peter couldn’t figure out how to balance them.
“I don’t know how much longer I can do this, Wade,” Peter sighed deeply. He slouched in on himself like the weight of the world he held up on his shoulders for so long was finally breaking him down.

OR:Wade helps Peter learn just how much the city loves him by pissing off an entire bar full of Spider-Man loving New Yorkers.

Summary
"What did you draw?" Arthur asks, his voice simultaneously barely audible and unbearably loud in the silence of their flat. For a moment John considers lying again but this has been going on for too long and in his drawing Arthur is smiling. He isn't smiling right now though, he knows that. You, John replies. I drew you.
Another long moment of silence and John can see Arthur's fingers briefly wandering down the drawing, almost like he's trying to see it through touch alone. "Why?" he then asks and it's the one question John has no answer to, not even the truth.
(With some free time on his hands after they return to Arkham, John starts drawing. Soon however he finds himself with one particular muse.)
