Summary
For the second time in about as many days, Natasha found herself outside of a Washington, D.C. hospital.
Barely three days ago she watched from behind a thick pane of glass as Nick Fury - her mentor, her confidant, her friend - died on the operating table, succumbing to a barrage of bullet wounds. It had been mere hours since she'd discovered that the entire thing had been a planned ruse to throw HYDRA off his scent. Now she was back, this time because Steve decided to face The Winter Solider alone. Again.
Natasha had no idea if he was all right, or even alive for that matter. The only thing she knew came in a text from Fury that read, "Found Rogers. Sending hospital address. Get there now."
