Summary
How things could’ve been different if Sam had never even entertained for a MOMENT going along with the Ma’lak box plan when Dean suggested it. What would have changed, and what would’ve stayed exactly the same.
After God checks out, familiar faces start appearing mysteriously at the same time Sam comes to terms with the return of his powers and a little something extra.
AKA a rewrite of the ending of s14/all of s15. Some things change, and change like crazy. Jack doesn't go anywhere near that fucking box though, and that's what's important.
Featuring Witch and Psychic Sam, utilizing plot points I wish they hadn't brushed under the rug, and fixing any plots that pissed me off.

Summary
'Sam feels hopeless, weak, desperate. He doesn't pray to God, who knew if he was still around to listen? He doesn't even pray to Cas, cry out for Dean, or beg for his life. A new instinct is born in that moment that Sam can't explain.'
OR
The first time was a stab in the dark, a desperate cry for help. So was the second. Suddenly, whenever he's about to die, Sam prays to a certain archangel and gets help without question. Why is Gabriel helping him? And why does he keep lying to Dean about it?

Summary
This shouldn’t have happened. It should’ve been an easy witch hunt, but Sam got hit by a curse. He supposed it would be okay; he'd seen the curse on Dean before, and he knew he had a fourteen-hour window before it became a real problem. He and Gabriel had more than enough time to get back to the bunker, right?
Apparently, no. With Gabriel in such close proximity, Sam found it hard to focus on anything other than the Archangel. The curse shouldn’t have been this bad for a few more hours—or at least that’s what Sam initially told Gabriel. But considering the heat crawling under his skin, it was going to be a long drive.
