Summary
Ragno was born with a dragon tama, a creature living inside him. He's never met anyone else like him- until Key. Despite this, they immediately start off on the wrong foot, and seem destined to become bitter rivals. But when Key begins to have trouble controlling his dragon and is at risk of being expelled, there's no one else for Sugoi to turn to.
Ragno, duty-bound to obey his mentor's wishes, begrudgingly agrees to help, but ends up learning more about Key than he expected.

Summary
Most discover their tamas when they're young (tamas, Noreen had meant, tamas are hereditary and Dino had known that) but maybe Dino can keep the child from learning of his tama at all. It's safer, that way. Perhaps a bit selfish, and he knows Noreen would disapprove, but he does not plan to speak to her for the rest of his life, and he does not plan on letting Key's body become his coffin.
