Summary
I have been working on this for the past 5 and a half years, since August 2019. This is my effort to make ACOMAF, one of my guilty pleasure reads, more bearable. Not to be long winded, but SJM as a writer leaves something to be desired, and I have just the ego to make this. My goal is to rewrite ACOMAF but gayer and written better. I am probably going to come back and edit this for an eternity, but I need to post something to hold myself to account.

Shane parked his car in the garage and got out. His mind was simultaneously going a thousand miles an hour and stuck in neutral. There was a background buzzing that was almost deafening. Everything felt wrong; his shirt was scratchy, his shoes were tied too tight, and he could feel every strand of hair on his head.
As soon as Ilya's arms were around him, the buzzing in Shane's brain started to quiet. Ilya's hug felt firm, warm, and calming. Nothing like the past few days had been.
