Summary
Dr. Kel thought he would like working alone, not having to answer to anyone or have anyone looking over his shoulder. After a week of total isolation in the Dunkeltaler Array, crushing loneliness and paranoia starts to take hold.
Which is only amplified further when he learns that he's not alone.
He's not sure if it's due to his rapidly declining mental state or his desperate need for social interaction, but when faced with something inhuman and dangerous, rather than run away, he tries to reach out to it.

Summary
After defeating the Creaking King and losing Nom, Scott decides to leave Bannerfall. In memory of Nom and the plans they made, Scott sets sail. One time is a coincidence. Two times is downright eerie. By the third, Scott is convinced he is cursed.
Flowersmith post canon, where Scott lives on. He keeps meeting Nom’s reincarnations, and each time they die again and again. Like clockwork, it takes two months, and he’s dead. No matter how hard Scott tries to prevent it or avoid meeting him altogether, they always meet, and Scott always sees him die.

Siren snorted. “No. I’m just here to order some food.”
“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”
“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).
