Summary
It’s been a year since the Autobots and Decepticons came to an alliance, and Optimus wants to start getting Megatron to let loose, as well as have someone to lean on himself. He missed Megatron, and he wouldn’t be afraid to say that he has always had feelings for him.
Meanwhile Megatron cannot keep his panels closed whenever he even thinks of Optimus, and is constantly cranking it to the thought of his former enemy. And he would rather die than Optimus ever find out.
Or: Optimus is trying to be romantic and Megatron just keeps ruining it with his horniness.

He was briefly reminded of Ravage when she was first brought back to base as nothing more that a cyberkit.
"Prime," sick delight dripped from the word, his grin growing wider, "or is it just Optimus now?"

Ratchet is alarmed to find out that Optimus has been hiding his heat from everyone, refusing to ask for help and determined to just 'wait it out'.
Ratchet tries his best to keep Optimus's condition stable but the pull of the heat pheromones is becoming too much to bear--coupled with the romantic feelings he's been harbouring for the Prime all these years, Ratchet worries that interfacing might impact their friendship in a negative way after all is said and done. Not to mention his anxiety that none of it will mean nearly as much to Optimus as it does to him.
