The poets of old would write ballads about the greed that envelops her, washing over every cell in her body as she itches to take and take and take. She’s scared of what she’ll find. This- Aglaea’s touch, it has to be a fluke. The fact that Aglaea didn’t die is a fluke in itself, a miracle, even, but she cannot let it happen again.
But the thing is– Castorice enjoys spending time with Aglaea. Enjoys the little downtime they get, when Aglaea actively seeks her out, chooses to be with her (and what a rush that feeling is), just something as simple as talking about mundane things such as the weather, or every so often when she would inquire about a project Aglaea is working on just to see her expression brighten in a way that resembles a sun Castorice would spend eternities chasing.
