Everybody knew about the tiny apartment on the East End of L'manberg, hiding in a far corner of the lower districts.
A place everyone was welcome, regardless of their given title.
Where villains could come for medical treatment.
Where mafia goons and bosses could rest without the need to look over their shoulders.
Where vigilantes and heroes could have a nice chat over tea.
Where treatment (and treats) were given out freely.Where societal tags (and their due expectations) were shot and murdered at the front door.
And if you ignored this rule, you too were shot and murdered at the front door.
By whom was a gamble.Everybody knew about the tiny apartment on the East End of L'manberg.
Everybody also knew that if you touched any of the occupants, well...
You'd have the entirety of super-powered society (underground and otherwise) gunning for your head.Tommy Innit, the owner of said apartment, lived quite the interesting life.

Summary
Currently, he is panicking the fuck out. His back had just popped out a fresh pair of wings (he’s not sure what type, not that he cares) that are way too similar for Wilbur to not notice.
“Tommy!” Wilbur’s voice rings from outside his door as there’s a loud knock on his door. “It’s time for breakfast!”
He panics; it wasn’t like he would cover the wings, it was the middle of spring! He wouldn’t just put them away either; his powers weren’t powerful enough for him to retract his wings into his back.
“I-I’ll be there in a second!” Tommy yells back. He doesn’t think he would hide them, but it wasn’t like Wilbur could see them either.
Shapeshifter Tommy gains wings inspired by Wilbur's phantom wings, but he's terrified of Wilbur seeing.

Tommy was annoying
It was a known fact. This isn't some way of self-deprecating himself, either, he genuinely just... Annoys everybody. It was a rare and very unfortunate power to have developed, filled in a world of people with hybrid-based powers, water control, fire control, super senses, or invisibility and speed,
Or... Nullifying powers.
Tommy was aware nullifying powers existed of course, and they weren't exactly that rare... At least, not as rare as the other powers that about, half of the population tend to develop- He simply didn't expect to notice coming in contact with somebody that has nullifying powers, because as far as he was concerned, he had nothing to nullify.
Then he did.

Or, three time's tommy's power caused him to annoy everybody around him, and one time everyone was happy (there's a lot more to this I just can't put it into words haha)

Summary
Everyone thinks that Wilbur thinks hes better than all of them and a mean person but in reality he just has major social anxiety.
Phil, Tommy, and Techno move in across from him and make it their mission to befriend him.
Lil Snippet:
He found a Facebook group called Mr. Scrooge of Woodland neighborhood.
Phil clicked on the group and scrolled through some of the posts.
Most of them were making fun of someone named "Wilbur".
He wasn't sure what most of them meant so he commented on one of them asking about it.
Most of the replies were joking like, "You dont want to know" or "THE GROUCHIEST PERSON EVER!!!"
But he did get a couple serious ones like, "Oh, hes just this guy who pretty much ignores everyone because he thinks hes better than them."

Summary
Wilbur was not excited to meet his new roommate
His last one was awful so he did not have high expectations for this one
And when he realizes his roommate is the annoying and obnoxious kid everyone was talking about, he had just about given up
But what happens when he realizes this kid is nothing like the one described to him?
Lil Snippet:
“Hey.” The kid said, quietly
“I'm just doing some work so you can get settled in, I made sure none of my stuff touched your side of the room” They said
“Okay” Wilbur was surprised
The kid was acting nothing like how his friends had described them
The loud, obnoxious kid was nowhere to be seen
Only this quiet and polite one was sitting at the desk listening to their music and scribbling something down into a notebook.
