Around town, crueler mouths called him the town bicycle, said he’d let anyone take a ride for the right price. They spat the word whore like it was a weapon, but they never said it to his face.
And truthfully? He’d do just about anything for a couple of bucks. He had bills to pay and a hunger to feed, and he wasn’t ashamed of the hustle.
Still, no one ever dared touch him without permission. Because Eddie Munson had already laid claim.
In the underworld of the town, they were spoken of as the King and his “Queen.” A dangerous pairing. Glamour and brutality wrapped together in silk and blood.

Crowley arrives at the Johnson Space Center, where he will train for a year to prepare for six months aboard the International Space Station. He is excited. Ready to reach the nebulas. Even though his past military trauma overshadows everything he does. Chaplain Aziraphale, hired three years ago for the brand-new NASA chaplaincy program, finds caring for the astronauts to be a breath of fresh air. Especially since NASA is the latest of a long line of failed parishes in a career directed by his brother, Gabriel.
Their paths collide when Crowley, after suffering a panic attack in a simulation, stumbles into the orbit of Chaplain Aziraphale. Crowley finds unexpected solace and acceptance in their relationship, and Aziraphale begins to believe he can be more than the subservient chaplain his family expects. It remains to be seen whether they can truly find their way together through the stars.

“Andrew.” The pool of blood beneath Andrew’s knuckles was expanding, inching towards the cracks in the tile. Neil was positive he was going to be sick for a multitude of reasons, least of all being the gash across Andrew’s hand.
It was his shaking, eerily violent jerking so distinctively un-Andrew-like, that was making his stomach turn. He was usually so still — his face, his body, his voice.
And yet there he was, practically vibrating. Like a ticking time bomb or a scared child. His face was sheet white, his red mouth slightly agape, hazel eyes staring half-lidded at his own blood dripping onto the ground. Crimson was smeared over his white t-shirt, and he must’ve taken off his armbands at some point because the pale gleam of his forearms was in stark contrast to the blood he was covered in. Neil’s entire body was tense. It was so unexpected, so visceral, like seeing a casualty on the road while driving past a car accident. Like Neil wasn’t meant to see it.

Ghost keys his mic. “Watcher-1, be advised. We’ve found a bio containment vault. Several vials unaccounted for.”
Laswell’s tone tightens. “Copy, Ghost. Stand by—”
Soap steps around him to get a better look at the cooling rack. He crouches down, frowning. Ghost turns slightly, waiting for Laswell’s update.
“Ghost—get down!”
Soap tackles him from the side, knocking Ghost clear off his feet as the room explodes.
