“Jungkook, do you know why I had Hobi bring you back here?” Seokjin asks point blank.
Jungkook ducks his head and nods. “I’m sorry, I’m not very good at- you’re beautiful, it’s not- I’m just not always good at this stuff.”
Seokjin’s not sure what’s digging at him, why he feels bad for being so forward all of the sudden when in the past he’s been fine with boldly shoving someone to their knees by a handful of their hair (with consent of course) but now he wants to let Jungkook off the hook so easily.
Maybe that alone should be reason enough to signal Hoseok to come get Jungkook and get him out of here, he’s not used to giving a shit anymore and he’s not exactly sure why it’s happening now. Jungkook’s just like the rest of them, there’s nothing special about him.

It’s not necessarily that Seokjin wants to get married, he’s just… lonely. His house is too big and most of his “friends” rotate through it like it’s a resort and not his private residence, maintaining a buffered distance that leaves him wanting something real.
A myriad of relationships under his belt and he doesn’t think one I love you was honest, from them or from him. He dated who he was supposed to, then tried dating who he wasn’t supposed to, then gave up all together.
One of these guys could be the real thing.
