Summary
On a string of rural case stops, Dean keeps noticing the same thing: people look at Castiel too long. Sheriffs, waitresses, witnesses, strangers at gas stations, all of them caught for a second on Cas's face, his voice, the unnerving stillness of him. Dean tells himself it means nothing. Cas is Cas. People stare. That is not his problem.
Except it keeps happening, and Dean keeps noticing.
As a boundary-haunting case drags them from one county line to the next, irritation turns into obsession, and obsession starts getting a lot too close to the truth. Dean is angry, possessive, confused, and increasingly incapable of pretending he does not care who wants Cas's attention or what exactly he wants for himself.
Meanwhile, Cas notices far more than Dean thinks he does.
The Way They Look at You is a canon-style road case fic full of jealousy, unresolved tension, motel room pressure, sharp banter, and the slow, awful realization that Dean Winchester may not be handling any of this with dignity at all.

Summary
Post-canon, Dean and Cas are living together in the bunker, but the silence between them has become unbearable. Dean wants Cas with a desperation he can’t name, and Cas—tired of it—stops pretending he doesn’t see it. After a hunt, the violence already simmering between them finally breaks open, dragging everything hidden to the surface.
What follows is not softness, at least not at first. It is want expressed through force, trust disguised as resistance, and Dean learning that being taken is not the same as being broken. Cas refuses to give him an easy way out when what Dean is really asking for is to be known completely.
As the line between fighting and wanting collapses, they have to figure out what this new language between them actually means.

Summary
He can’t handle losing Cas, and he especially can’t handle losing the ex-angel over something as stupid as him liking to dress up in pretty underwear because it makes him feel beautiful.
Dean will either never speak his mind or he will die of humiliation, and he far easier will take the former.
(TLDR: Dean Winchester and his macho-manly internalized shame struggles to accept the fact that he likes wearing panties. Cas shows him there's nothing wrong with it. Angst, some miscommunication, love, and smut ensue.)

Summary
Cas sputters for the right words. He can’t exactly say “I thought you were disgusted with me”. Something tells him that that's not what Dean needs to hear right now.
Before he can find a suitable answer, Dean’s already speaking again.
“You won’t talk to me, you won’t be alone with me, you won’t look at me, and you looked like you’d rather get frostbite than get in the bed with me,” Dean rambles, voice getting thick and hoarse in an attempt to keep tears choked back.
TLDR: Post-canon destiel, thinking one another's feelings are unrequited when that's (predictably) not truly the case. An abandoned cabin in a blizzard, some mild hypothermia, and huddling for warmth forces them to talk it out...and let their bodies do some talking too. :)
