Ren thinks about it. His life really couldn’t and shouldn’t revolve completely around the shadow world, he supposes. And he’s not obligated to do any more than this if acting doesn’t agree with him after all.
Ann’s going to freak. Futaba is going to lose her shit.
“You remember the Phantom Thieves of Hearts business a few years back?” The director asks. “It won’t be a complete one to one, but I do have to admit that this series’ plot is loosely based on it.”
Okay, now that’s just unfair. Now Ren has to take the role.
So that’s how Ren becomes a Featherman Ranger.
Or, Amamiya Ren becomes a Featherman actor, bases his character off Akechi, and the real Akechi Goro disastrously simps from afar.

This is genuinely one of my favourite fics ever.It's so incredibly well written and each character feels so insanely in character, not to mention how much this has influenced me in general? Like, I can singlehandedly say this is what got me into watching Tokkusatsu (I'm hoping I spelt that right).
I have reread this too many times to count, to the point where I have started annotating my different read throughs with different colours, because I keep finding new stuff to go, "Oh my fucking god- THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE-" at.
Konbini_kun, your writing is genuinely incredible and thank you so much for writing this fic!!!
