    Not just because he craves Straw Hat in this way, but because Law never realized how much better he would feel once Doflamingo was taken care of. He didn’t realize how good it would feel to take the first step towards healing.
    He didn’t realize how much it would mean to him to have Straw Hat by his side the whole way, for him to still be so close now.

    He’s already made Law’s life better, infinitely more chaotic, yes. But so much better.

    Law raises an eyebrow, and Luffy can’t tell if it’s amused or not.

    “And that’s it?”

    It’s not enough. Luffy wants. He wants Law crowded over him, whispering filthy things he’s only heard in his dreams. He wants Law to fold him in half, bend him over with a hand shoved on the back of his head. Luffy wants Law to do things he’s never let anyone else do to him before, the ache settling in the pit of his stomach ready to burst, spill out at the seams.
