Summary
A month and a half after he and Kai were rescued, Lloyd still isn't over the three days he was held captive and tortured by Morro. It's hard to move on when the face of his torturer is none other than that of his once trusted friend, whom he'd regarded as an older brother but now no longer feels safe around.
Kai too can't seem to forget the sensations and memories of his own hands hurting his little brother, and is consumed with guilt and self-hatred over his part in Lloyd's traumatic ordeal, carrying a terrible secret that could forever destroy the once strong bond they shared.
While both try to move on from what happened in their separate ways, supported by their friends and family, neither of them will ever feel whole until they can figure out how to face each other again.

Summary
So this is a series about Kai, mostly from his perspective, because I was thinking about it and, taking his recklessness, his having raised Nya all on his own from such a young age, and his shitty coping mechanisms into consideration, it seems to me that he is extremely self-destructive, even self-hateful despite the 'cocky' show he puts up, and this is basically looking deeper into that, into what might be going on in his head and behind the scenes and things like that.
Jump on in if this sounds good to you!(and even if it doesn't, just read the damn thing anyway-) the water's great!(and depressing :D)
If you have any requests for particular scenes from this show, you might wanna suggest them because I do not remember enough about this show at all, I just really felt like writing this. Only things about Kai tho, it doesn't necessarily have to be from his POV but it has to be mostly related to him since he's the focus of this.

He drags Jay into his arms, since he’s the youngest after Lloyd, and starts running. Zane and Cole can’t keep up, but he trusts them enough to leave them a few paces behind. This new child could be in trouble.
He finds, a few seconds later, the source of the sound. A little girl, covered in dust and ratty clothes, clutching a piece of cloth that may be a blanket, sits in the middle of a small dip in the street. She’s wailing, tears making tracks down her face, cutting through the dust. Her hair is black, and her eyes are wide and brown.
