“Come on then…” Hermione hurries her to the door, passing her a purse that she’s filled with breath mints and hair pins and an egregiously large, completely unnecessary pile of muggle condoms. “Give me a little spin so I can check.”
Pansy stares at Hermione until it’s quite obvious that she isn’t joking, finally giving in to a single slow spin in the doorway.
“Perfect. Just… perfect.” Hermione smiles at her, pulls her into a too-tight hug. “I’m so happy for you, Pans. You deserve something good. Don’t forget that.”
“I deserve something good.” She tells herself as she apparates away, and maybe she even believes it.
