His debut at Hogwarts is even more shocking then, when the son of James Potter and Lily Evans is sorted into Slytherin.
A ward of the snake house, thrown into chaos of life after the quiet of his upbringing, utterly alone in that large castle with a Headmaster who seems to trace his every move, follow the Boy-Who-Lived through his first year of Hogwarts.

Okay so author-chan is off the charts amazing for creating this master piece because now it's got me thinking that draco/Harry/theo is a possibility and that yeah it can be a platonic relationship it's still a cute one.

Summary
Instead of taking his family into hiding and praying for the best, James made a different choice. Making a deal with the Dark Lord for his family's lives. Truthfully it wasn't as difficult of a choice as he had feared and worse yet, working for Voldemort wasn't as horrific or bloody as he expected. Of course, once he as became content with their lives, Lily takes Harry and vanishes. Leaving James to deal with the fall out.
